He is There!
Good Morning! Isaiah 33:2 O Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength in the morning, our salvation in time of distress. There is a reason why I get up in the morning and do this. And that is why! I get my strength to make it through the day. To get ready for what the world has to throw at me today. And I hope they help some of you do the same. But what it all comes down to is Jesus cares and He is there, no matter what you are going through. Unlike Isaiah's time, we may not be facing overwhelming armies, ready to take our country hostage, but your daily challenges are just as important to Jesus as that. Like the prophet, you can call on Him, no matter what you face. In fact in (1 Peter 5:7) God tells us to cast all our troubles on Him. God is telling us He is concerned about everything we face, all the trials and troubles that impact our lives on a daily basis. He is there all the time and wanting to help. On that tired morning, when its hard to get up and moving. (Like me this morning lol) You can call on Jesus. When you have a life changing problem that looms ahead in your day. He cares about that too! Can you find a problem that He wont share with you or tell you to take it somewhere else? NO! He told us to give Him our troubles and problems, and He means just that. Whether it be a son or daughter who's hard to handle, a difficulty on the job, or a spiritual issue you just can't seem to resolve. He offers both a listening ear and answers. Do you long for help from God? Your desire is in the right place. Just ask, then trust He will answer. It may not be today and it may not be tomorrow, but you can know that help is on the way. Because you've put your faith in the eternal God who never fails. Talk to Him this morning! He is there! He cares! And then know, that help is on the way and HABD!

Is God still here?
ReplyDeleteSometimes we ask the question, Where is God? We don’t let people know that we haven’t heard from Him. We wonder why we can’t hear Him, is He listening, have I done something? Where is He???
So ask yourself, better yet ask the Lord to search our heart, and show us if there is any wicked way in it. For Lord you are faithful to show us our motivations and secret desires. Show us any blockages or walls in our life that may be hindering us from receiving and giving to the You.
Some blockages are unforgiveness, unconfessed sin, disobedience, wounds and hurts.
But other times it’s our own imagination, or it’s Satan. God is here and at times we don’t feel him. Mark sometimes relates this to the seasons, in spring things are coming in to bloom and in summer there is a harvest and fall and winter things are just dormant. So be patient spring is here and summer is coming!!!
