Good Morning! Proverbs Day 22: Prov 22:2 Rich and poor have this in common: The Lord is the maker of them all. Let me ask you something? Are there people in your life that when you get around them, you get this feeling like you are walking on pins and needles cause this person is so much better than you? Maybe it is because they have money. Or maybe you feel they are smarter than you. Or maybe in your own mind you just feel they are superior to you. I used to feel this way about alot of people. But this Proverb helps to remind me of the old saying! "Everybody puts there pants on the same way, one leg at a time." This is something that helps me alot today in my walk. Cause so often we measure people and how good they are by what they possess or how smart they are, or even by how happy we think they are. But I have some news for you today! When God looks at us he sees us all the same. He loves us for the person we are on the inside. He also loves us for the person we are not on the inside. Cause if you are like me sometimes we struggle and stumble throughout a day with the stuff on the inside, but He still loves us. Here lately I have been struggling with thinking that money is the answer to all my problems, but I am finding this attitude only creates more problems. In Prov 22:1 It says, A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold. I am seeing today that people who have all that money, are no more happier and have alot more problems and pressures than I could probably handle. So today I have to remember it is not the riches I have here that matter, it is the ones I have in my heart. Cause those people who put their pants on in the morning and step out in this world without Jesus in their heart, have not found the True Treasures in this world. So today if you get around someone who makes you feel inferior, remember! They put their pants on the same way as you do. God loves you the same way he does them. And then ask yourself does this person know Jesus? Cause if they don't you possess something they don't have. But you should share it with them. It just might make putting their pants on a little easier! HABD!
