Silver Tongued Saint

Good Morning! I took this from one of my Devos! Prov 10:20 The tongue of the righteous is as choice silver. The heart of the wicked is worth little. Going faithfully about our daily lives, we may not think we have a great impact on our world for Jesus. We can try to live honestly, do a good job, and raise our families well, but the day-to-day business of our lives seems so small. What importance do they have in the great scheme of things? God doesn't say we all have to be spiritual giants. Not every Christian will be a Mother Teresa or a Billy Graham. We may not reach around the world to people, unless its with our missions giving. But that doesn't mean God doesn't value all we do.This Proverb describes a basic difference between the faithful believer and the unbeliever. When Christians speak out, whenever they are, using the wisdom of the Scriptures, their words become important. They may not get the public attention that one wicked opinion maker who's covered with approbation by the media receives, but to God, their faithfulness is worth more than any TV or radio coverage. Though each believer may only touch a few lives, that impact may go far beyond any famous persons reach. Clearly, we need to understand that though God can use politicians or radio or tv personalities to accomplish His will, he doesn't have to. Public opinion doesn't have to go with Him, and it rarely does. But in the end, when the final day of justice comes, God may show the whole world that the blessed silver-tongued saint who lived down the street was priceless to Him and His work, while the wicked opinion maker was nearly valueless to anyone. This is from me! Today are you the one full of Gods Word? Or are you just full of opinions? HABD!
